Who operates Up Set
Up Set is an independently operated, United States-based collection-management and market-reference service for building sets and collectibles. Its public website is upsetme.com. Questions, privacy requests, and business inquiries can be sent to support@upsetme.com.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we process your email address, authentication information, display name, username, account identifiers, and any profile photo you choose to upload. When you use collection features, we process the items and quantities you track, purchase prices and sources you choose to enter, wishlists, target prices, searches, recent lookups, scanner results, and inventory activity. We may also process standard device, browser, request-log, crash, diagnostic, notification-token, and security information needed to operate the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, synchronize web and mobile collections, calculate collection value and ROI, save preferences, provide target-price alerts, diagnose problems, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, improve Up Set, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal collection or account information.
Usage measurement
Up Set uses first-party, privacy-conscious measurement to understand total users, daily and monthly use, feature adoption, and page performance. We store daily aggregate event counts instead of a raw click-by-click history. Signed-in activity may be associated with your Up Set account so we can count active users accurately. For signed-out website visitors, we use a randomly generated browser identifier stored on that device. We do not include search terms, collection contents, purchase prices, IP addresses, or full user-agent strings in these usage events, and we do not use this measurement to sell data or build advertising profiles.
Service providers
Up Set uses service providers to host the website and app, store account and collection data, authenticate users, deliver notifications, monitor reliability, and support builds. These may include Supabase, OpenAI Sites, Expo/EAS, Apple, Google, and other infrastructure providers used by the service. They process information under their own terms and privacy commitments as needed to provide their services.
Affiliate links and third parties
When affiliate buying links are activated, a retailer or marketplace may use cookies, referral parameters, or similar identifiers to attribute a qualifying purchase. Up Set does not receive your marketplace password or full payment-card information through an affiliate link. Third-party destinations have their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Account and collection information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal obligations. You may permanently delete your account from Settings in Up Set. A web deletion route is also available on the account deletion page. Some limited records may be retained when required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legitimate recordkeeping.
Security
Up Set uses access controls, authenticated requests, row-level data protections, and service-provider safeguards designed to protect account information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your choices and rights
You may change your profile photo, correct collection information within Up Set, change notification permissions in your device settings, remove wishlist targets, sign out, or delete your account. Replacing a profile photo removes the prior stored photo, and account deletion removes the current profile photo subject to the limited retention terms above. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information. Children
Up Set is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support so it can be reviewed and removed.
International processing and changes
Information may be processed in countries where Up Set or its service providers operate. We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated in the service.
